Every Patient Deserves Better Options—We’re Working to Deliver Them
Living with central nervous system (CNS) disorders can affect nearly every part of daily life—from independence and confidence to school, work, relationships, and the ability to plan for tomorrow. For many patients and caregivers, life is shaped by unpredictability, exhaustion, difficult tradeoffs, and the constant search for better options.
At Praxis, we believe every patient deserves the opportunity to participate more fully in life, and every caregiver deserves hope, support, and the possibility of a better future. Through precision neuroscience, we are working to advance therapies grounded in biology and inspired by the real experiences of the patient communities we serve.
The Conditions We’re Working to Change
Essential Tremor (ET)
ET is one of the most common movement disorders, causing involuntary shaking that can make everyday activities more difficult. An estimated 7 million people in the U.S. are affected by ET.
Developmental & Epileptic Encephalopathies (DEEs)
DEEs are rare, severe epilepsies that often begin in childhood and can affect development, cognition, movement, communication, and daily life. DEEs impact more than 200,000 people in the U.S.
Epilepsy
Epilepsy is a chronic neurological disorder marked by recurrent seizures that can vary in frequency, severity, and presentation. An estimated 3 million people in the U.S. are living with epilepsy.
